As it can not be otherwise, we firstly recommend the Balcón de Córdoba hotel. It is a house with a patio converted, with great pleasure, into a charming hotel. Its location is excellent. It is only 200 meters from the Mosque. Rooms are distributed around three patios so rest is assured. It is the most requested hotel by couples beacuse of its decoration. Breakfasts are very good. They have a menu of hot dishes. We have to highlight the terrace... What a view! As the quality is paid, we have to say that it is not the cheapest option to sleep in Cordoba but it is a sure bet.

Secondly, we highlight La Casa de la Judería, located 1 minute walking from the Mosque of Cordoba. It is quite an experience to stay here as they manage to transfer the essence of the city with the details you find in the hotel. Rooms have a classic decoration that blend perfectly with the surroundings. One of the best thing is the friendliness of the staff and how pleasant it is to have breakfast in its patio. It also has a perfect pool to fight "La Caló" from Cordoba. The price is around 104€ per room with breakfast included.

Where to sleep in Córdoba city

If you prefer to stay a little further away from the historical centre area we select our favorite hotels.

In the first place we must mention the Hospes Palacio del Bailio, close to the historical centre. It occupies an old palace of the sixteenth century so it has a special charm. One of the best things is the central swimming pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is a modern and elegant hotel, like all the Hospes chain. It also has details as paintings in original murals that make it unique.

Another option to sleep in Córdoba city is the Hotel Viento 10. It is located at the east of the city almost on the banks of the Guadalquivir. It is a small hotel with 8 rooms in a very quiet area of the city. The decoration of the hotel is modern with very bright open spaces. The average price is 75€ per night.
