In the surrondings of the ski resort it is possible to find a delicious and varied cuisine that is always based on the gastronomic tradition of the region Gúdar - Javalambre. Grilled ternasco, game meat and veal meat are the most consumed dishes when eating in Javalambre. But that is not all. From the pork it is possible to elaborate all kind of embutidos among which the Jamón de Teruel D.O stands out. Mushrooms are also a very famous product in the region because in Autumn the soil of the region gets full of them. The most famous one is the black truffle that is very appreciated by the best restaurants and which is really hard to find but delicious when used. Other famous recipes from the area are the empedrao (a stew based on red beans, rice and cod), the bolos (balls made of pork blood, butter, grilled bread and pinions) and the regañao (bread dough baked in the oven with pepers and sardines)

Another place that we would suggest you to try for eating in Javalambre is Melanosporum, the restaurant of the Hotel La Trufa Negra at Mora de Rubielos. Its dishes are very contemporary and creative and it always preserves the basis of the regional tradition by giving an special protagonism to local products such as the black truffle.
El Rinconcito offers a culinary proposal based on the mediterranean diet where torolense products are the base of a very attractive and tasty menu.
