Guide to sleep in La Barceloneta
Between the narrow streets perpendicular to the port of this old sailors' district, there are buildings of humble people, whose balconies display the hanging clothes, with the sonorous and varied atmosphere of a popular neighborhood. Interestingly, such a popular neighborhood was designed by military engineers after the War of Succession and is a product of more rational urbanism. Today it is a recreational area that has become one of the most tourist areas in Barcelona. There is a lot to see in La Barceloneta, so we recommend contemplating it from the sea in one of the "swallows" that leave the port, and then walk along this stretch of coastline. It is surprising that next to the functional modernity of the Paseo Marítimo and the Olympic Port there are some typical streets where it is possible to taste an authentic atmosphere of a fishing village; do not stop going for them. If you plan to sleep in La Barceloneta, we recommend that you continue reading in order to get an idea of what you can find in this neighborhood in what accommodation.

Museo de historia

Los Cubos

Where to sleep in La Barceloneta
The Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel GL stands out for several reasons, since on the one hand there is its peculiar architecture and its location, on the other it is worth noting the quality of high-end facilities and services that have, among other attractions, 291 full rooms and comfortable, terraces, restaurant, cafeteria, gym or piano bar. The rooms are decorated with warm fabrics, wooden floors and a spa bath.

Another high quality establishment in the Barceloneta neighborhood is the Hotel Arts Barcelona, a hotel where it is possible to find luxurious facilities that have a total of 483 fully equipped rooms, are spacious and elegant and sound system. The bathrooms have a separate spa bath and hydromassage shower. There are also other complementary services such as spa, restaurant or meeting and event rooms, all in a privileged location and with a striking design.

The Pullman Barcelona Skipper is luxurious and has 5 stars, it is less than 5 minutes from the beach. The hotel is modern and has spacious rooms and an elegant bathroom with a rain shower. The rooftop pool has stunning views of the city and the sea. The hotel has 2 bars with outdoor terrace. Its narrow streets, full of bars, restaurants and shops, are full of lively life. It is one of the best starting points for shopping tourism and those who travel to visit the excellent clinics of Barcelona. The traveler who wants to know the Barcelona bourgeois lifestyle and have a pleasant atmosphere for a few days at more reasonable costs, should visit the Parc de la Creueta del Coll. If you plan to sleep in Gracia de Barcelon, we recommend that you continue reading so that you can get an idea of what you can find in this neighborhood.

Parc de la Creueta del Coll

Where to sleep in Gracia, Barcelona

Our favorite accommodation to sleep in Gracia de Barcelona is the Hotel Casa Fuster, a high-end hotel located a short distance from some of the main modernist buildings of the city. It has a total of 105 complete, warm and welcoming rooms supported by the presence of additional services such as several terraces, restaurants and bars, as well as the necessary facilities to hold wedding receptions, communions and other similar events.

Another accommodation that we like very much in this neighborhood is the Hotel Casa del Sol, a more modest hotel than the previous one. It has rooms decorated in a simple way, with very comfortable and large beds. The bathroom has a smart lighting system and shower with rain effect, but in general the highlight is the importance of the guest's well-being, which is represented in the staff's disposition.

The cheapest option in Gracia is the Hotel Ronda Lesseps, which has very simple rooms with giant beds and a modern private bathroom. Breakfasts and some meals are buffet style. Cleanliness is paramount in this hotel. It is also a very good option to visit the Parc Güell.

Hotel Casa Fuster

Hotel Casa del Sol

Guide to sleep in Igualada
Next to the Anoia River, Igualada has been for a millennium an important population of transporters and millers reinforced since the 18th century for its leather industry that has allowed it to build one of the best museums in Europe of its kind. Its interesting medieval quarter is completed by medieval mills and modernist buildings, such as the spectacular Cal Sabaté factory. Many visitors to Igualada usually pass through this important town too quickly, using it only as a quick stopover in their visit to the neighboring Sanctuary of Montserrat. This excellent area to live and also to visit; bourgeois Barcelona in its pure state. The daily life of Barcelona is palpable especially in its Eixample neighborhood; that bourgeois and enlightened Barcelona that knows how to live very well. The most important to see in the Eixample are the numerous buildings and spaces that Antoni Gaudí devised, including his Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. If you plan to sleep in Barcelona's Eixample, we recommend that you continue reading in order to get the idea of what you can find in this neighborhood in what accommodation.

Where to sleep in El Eixample of Barcelona

One of the accommodations that we like to sleep in Barcelona's Eixample, is The One Barcelona GL has 89 rooms that have an elegant decoration and are very bright due to the large windows. Their beds are very comfortable, according to most guests, and there are a number of services that can go unnoticed but are extremely functional, such as intelligent temperature control, Egyptian cotton on the beds, rain shower or multimedia center with international plugs. It has a small panoramic pool on the roof and a terrace with views of the city. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa has indoor sensation pool and Finnish sauna.

Another of the accommodations that we also like a lot is the Monument Hotel which is located in the heart of the neighborhood, it is located in an old palace and it has some of the premodernist style walls of the building, in fact its facade is monumental and is easily recognizable in the Paseo de Gracia. It has 84 rooms that have a very elegant and refined style, are quite spacious and all beds are king size, most have views of the wonderful Eixample district.

We also suggest the economic option, which is the Hostal Eixample, a place where you can find well-equipped rooms with everything you need, with less luxury but that more than offer everything you can expect from an accommodation to spend a few days. It is also a good base to visit the coast of Barcelona and the Garraf Natural Park. This important town is a traditional summer destination and today is one of the places with the best quality of life in Catalonia, with a great nightlife. In the tour of its historic center can not miss the Castle of the town. It offers a spa service, a hot tub and, of course, a swimming pool. Breakfast is buffet and snacks and lunches are available throughout the day at the bar. It is the neighborhood located immediately below the Ciudadela fortification that later became the Parque de la Ciudadela and its Zoo; Two lovely places that deserve a relaxed visit. From the mining past, it is currently part of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. It is a recondite, small and beautiful town linked to a peculiar historical episode that motivated the opening of its Interpretation Center of Catharism. If you plan to sleep in Bagà, we recommend that you continue reading to see the suggestions that we propose and so you can find the accommodation that best suits your needs and preferences.

Puente

Iglesia de Sant Joan d'Avellanet

Where to sleep in Bagà: city center

The first accommodation we want to recommend for you to sleep in Bagà is Hostal Molí del Casó, it is a very simple small pension.

Guide to sleep in Balsareny
Located on the commercial route that since time immemorial goes along the banks of the Llobregat River, the town of muleteers that was Balsareny is protected by a legendary medieval castle that was a refuge for bandits and the fiercest of the Carlist generals. A population that for centuries has become famous for its insurgents, it is logical that it stands out for its fortifications that are the most interesting thing to see in Balsareny. If you plan to sleep in Balsareny, we recommend that you continue reading to see the suggestions that we offer and so you can find the accommodation that best suits your needs and preferences.

Dónde dormir en Balsareny

Castillo de Balsareny

Where to sleep in Balsareny: city center

The hotel offer to sleep in Balsareny is somewhat scarce, but we will recommend the best accommodations so you can get to know what you can find. The first one we will mention are the El Racó de les Voltes apartments, which are located in a traditional farmhouse, very well decorated with stone walls and very neutral colors. Everything that comprises the house is built respecting the structure of this, the shower is embedded in the stone wall for example, something that gives the house a special charm.

Another one that we want to mention is the Puig de Vilapost, which is another house of the style, but less modern than the previous one, has something more classic in its essence that invites you to take a trip with family or friends. It is quite spacious and the common areas such as the living room are quite spacious. It is in the middle of the field and has a fairly large pool.

El Racó de les Voltes

Puig de Vilapost

Where to sleep in Balsareny: surroundings
If you are looking for a place to stay around Balsareny so that you know better the area, we recommend you to visit Manresa, a few kilometers from Balsareny. You can find the Hotel 1948 of 3 stars, which is a very simple and functional hotel. Try to have a modern style that is somewhat short, missing details to polish but is presented as a very cozy accommodation and is also in the center of the town.

Hotel 1948
