Guide to Sleep in Agaete - Gran Canaria
Founded by the first conquerors, this historical town in Gran Canaria is known for its God’s Finger, a curious rock formation where the island’s last aboriginal king retired at the end of his life. Its harbor is the starting point of a trip to southern Tenerife, La Palma and La Gomera (and from there, to El Hierro). While you enjoy Agaete’s amazing views, you’ll be able to explore its interesting old town, where the church of La Concepción and the Nuestra Señora de las Nieves shrine are located. And if you plan to sleep in Agaete – Gran Canaria, stay tuned for the following suggestions to find the most suitable accommodation for you.

Ermita de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves

Casa típica de pescadores

Where to sleep in Agaete - Gran Canaria: Old Town
Our favorite accommodation to sleep in Agaete is the Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra, which is less than 5 minutes on foot from the beach. Located just beside the beach, this hotel is a great option to enjoy a spectacular panorama of the sea (from its rooms and from the pool as well). The rooms are elegantly decorated with violet shades and include a separate living room. Nearly all of them include a balcony and an access point to the pool. The spa offers Vichy showers, mud and water therapies, biothermal showers and a Turkish bath. There is also a hotel gym and different shared areas equipped with ping-pong tables.

The Hotel Puerto de las Nieves is among our favorites too. This nautical themed accommodation is just 3 minutes away from the beach. It includes a spa with contrast pools and massage, hydro massage and jacuzzi options. You can taste the local cuisine at its restaurant-bar.

Hotel & Spa Cordial Roca Negra

Hotel Puerto de Las Nieves

Where to Sleep in Agaete - Gran Canaria: Surroundings
If you’re looking for accommodation in the surroundings of Agaete – Gran Canaria to explore the area, we advise you to stay in Sardina, where there is a superb country cottage called Los Dalos.
