Choosing where to stay is just as important as any other decision we make when planning our holidays. Some people gravitate towards sharing experiences in a guesthouse, others prefer to stay close to nature and enjoy the peaceful life of a campsite. Travelling is a tailor-made journey and every person has different needs and priorities. Today, we will review a luxury all-inclusive resort on the Costa del Sol: Ikos Andalusia, a five-star paradise to relax and enjoy the warmth of Málaga in Estepona.

All you need to know about Ikos Andalusia

An award-wining experience

Ikos Andalusia. | ikosresorts.com

The Ikos group has redefined the concept of all-inclusive hotels with their luxury resorts. They have five resorts in Greece: Ikos Aria, Ikos Dassia, Ikos Oceania, Ikos Odisia and Ikos Olivia. Apart from that, there is the delightful Ikos Andalusia, and they have recently opened another resort in Mallorca: Ikos Porto Petro.

In 2021, Ikos Andalusia was recognised at the Connoisseur Circle Hospitality Awards with a special mention for “Newcomer Luxury All Inclusive Resort Europe”. It was also awarded with a Green Key for its commitment to sustainability. Let’s see what this five-star resort has to offer.

What to expect from Ikos Andalusia

The pools of the resort. | ikosresorts.com

This exclusive resort rests on the shores of the Costa del Sol. The whitewashed buildings of the hotel rise above the silky sand of the beach, and the river of Guadalmansa flows into the sea right next to it. Its modern luxury rooms and suites are always open to the azure Mediterranean landscape.

One can bathe in the swimming pools of the resort while watching the bright blue waters of the sea extending in front of it. This little oasis surrounded by palm trees and gardens lets us enjoy amazing views of the Mediterranean and enjoy the sun and the sea breeze of the Andalusian coast. Needless to say, the sunsets here are pure magic. Among the nine swimming pools of the resort, there are different indoor pools too, as well as a sauna. Its wellness area features a hot tub and a hammam for full relaxation.

Ikos Andalusia. | ikosresorts.com

Speaking of relaxation, Ikos Andalusia makes it incredibly easy to feel nice and comfortable. Apart from the free shuttle service and room service, free WiFi is also available throughout the resort. The spa and fitness centre offer personalised treatments, a thermal suite, a hair and nails salon, and workout facilities.

There are also several activities for all tastes, including golfing, team sports, fitness and wellness activities, tennis courts and different water sports, such as canoeing, paddleboarding, and pedalo adventures. It is worth noting that most of these are free for clients. Kids of all ages will be able to enjoy fun activities too, like sports activities, games, arts and crafts, cooking classes, football escapes, and so on. When night falls, adults will be able to enjoy elegant evenings with cocktails next to the sea, vibrant bars, live music and shows.

Beach pool of Ikos Andalusia. | ikosresorts.com

Of course, there is no all-inclusive resort without food. Ikos Andalusia stands out for offering a gourmet experience of Mediterranean, Asian, French, Italian, Spanish and Greek cuisines. Its nine restaurants provide a unique gastronomic experience crafted by Michelin-starred chefs, and one can taste up to 300 premium wines there.

Exploring Estepona and its surroundings

Estepona. | Shutterstock

It is tempting to stay in Ikos Andalusia and not leave its facilities at all, but the surrounding area has many interesting things to offer too. Starting with Estepona, the so-called garden of the Costa del Sol. This gem in the province of Málaga is famous for its lovely streets with whitewashed houses decorated with flowers, an enchanting place to get lost in. Its old town is really worth visiting too, as well as the castle of San Luis, a 16th-century medieval fortress in the middle of the town.

The nature reserve of Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja lies less than 30 kilometres from the resort. It spreads around the mountain range of Sierra Bermeja, and it is home to endemic plant species that make it even more special. There are many hiking routes to explore this natural treasure, which provides breathtaking views and a different look into the Mediterranean landscape.

Back to the coastline, we will replace the green forests of the nature reserve with silky strands of sand and glittering water. Indeed, there are many sun-kissed beaches worth discovering near Estepona. Some of them are Playa de la Galera and Playa de Cristo, which boasts a Blue Flag certification. The two beaches flanking Ikos Andalusia, known as Playa de Guadalmansa and Playa de Guadalmina, are really nice to visit too.

Old town of Marbella. | Shutterstock

The beautiful city of Marbella lies nearby as well, a great option for a lovely getaway.

Guide to sleep in Vélez Blanco
Located over 1,000 meters high in the middle of Los Vélez district, its white hamlet is dominated by a castle that later became a palace residence.

To help you to decide where to sleep in Vélez Blanco, we have prepared a guide with the best accommodations in the area.
Where to sleep in Vélez Blanco
The hotels, pensions and rural houses offer in this town is quite limited. Within the possibilities that Vélez-Blanco leaves us ... our first recommendation is the Hotel Velad. It is a hotel that has its charm if you like classic decoration. After a change in the management of the accommodation it seems that Hotel Velad has taken a radical turn. Rooms, although classic, are very clean and have a sufficient size to be comfortable. One aspect that stands out from the hotel are the views, which are fabulous.

As a second alternative to sleep in Vélez Blanco we have the Hotel El Palacil. It is composed by clean and very well sized rural apartments. They have a swimming pool that is appreciated on the days when sun makes its own. The hotel has a restaurant with an oven to make homemade pizzas. In short, it is a simple, cozy and very quiet hotel at a good price. Surely Isabel, the owner, ensures that your stay is perfect.

Another option is Casa Luna Vélez Blanco, a house with a chillout-like decoration where the rooms are placed around its central swimming pool. All rooms have a private bathroom and also have a patio or terrace. This bed and breakfast has a shared kitchen so guests can also eat and enjoy the house and its amenities.

Hotel Velad

Hotel Palacil

Casa Luna Velez Blanco

Guide to sleep in Níjar
Between the peaks of Sierra Alhamilla and the Mediterranean Sea, and very close to the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, Níjar, a town with white houses and a hectic history is characterized by a beautiful and desertic environment that has inspired many writers. Its aquatic and coastal park is a spanish wonder perfect to rest throughout the year. In such a quiet environment, it is important to choose the right accommodation. That is why we recommend the ones that for us are the best places to sleep in Níjar.

Salt lakes

Los Escullos

Where to sleep in Níjar
In the town centre of Níjar there is not a great offer of accommodation but if you want to sleep in the centre we recommend the Hospedería Montes, a quiet, clean and correct place. Do not expect big luxuries but a host who will help you in everything you need to know about the town and the surroundings.

Our second recommendation is the Cortijo La Alberca, located on the outskirts of Níjar. In that rural environment we find this charming country house. As its name suggests everything revolves around ist swimming pool. A corner of peace where the noise of the water and the views of the mountains will make you disconnect.

Hospedería Montes

Cortijo La Alberca

Where to sleep in Nijar surroundings
There are towns near Níjar that are a fabulous alternative. This is the case of El Cortijo 4 Elementos, located in the town of Lucainena de las Torres. It is a country house recently transformed into accommodation. It is located in a quiet place ideal to go with the family. The treatment of its owner is one of the elements to review of the accommodation. Breakfast is homemade, so for local products lovers this is always a plus. We give you an advice: it is a bit complicated to find because it is not very well indicated, so be foresighted

We hope you have been helped by our guide to sleep in Níjar.

El Cortijo 4 Elementos

Guide to sleep in Roquetas de Mar
Roquetas de Mar is one of the most important cities of the province and also a tourist enclave of first order. Roquetas looks like a small village surrounded by a sea of plastic conformed by greenhouses where an intensive agriculture is practiced to provide with early vegetables to great part of Europe. Roquetas de Mar is beautiful, lively and warm and its beaches are very popular during the whole year.

In this section we select the best places to sleep in Roquetas de Mar.

Roquetas de Mar port

Roquetas Lighthouse

Where to sleep in Roquetas de Mar beach
There are more than 60 establishments so we are going to select our favourite ones to sleep in Roquetas de Mar.

First, we highlight the Protur Roquetas Hotel & SPA. It is a quiet and well-kept hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. It is located on the beachfront so its views are fabulous. The buffet of the hotel is very varied. There are even cooks preparing woks and other dishes live and direct. The SPA is highly recommended if you want to rest after a day at the beach. If you are thinking about sleeping in Roquetas de Mar with your family, this is your hotel.

As a second option we recommend you the Evenia Zoraida Garden, a perfect hotel to travel with children. It really looks like a resort of Punta Cana, with huge swimming pools with animation for children and adults. The rooms' decoration is up-to-date and it is also worth the perfect sea view... you will not want the holidays to end!

Finally the last hotel that we recommend is the Hotel Roc Golf Trinidad, another hotel on the beach with all the services you can imagine. Rooms are quite large with beautiful sea views. It also has a very professional staff, it becomes obvious that it is a hotel with a large influx of travelers. We highlight it for its quality-cost relationship. You can stay from 100€ per night in low season.

Protur Roquetas Hotel & SPA

Evenia Zoraida Garden

Hotel Roc Golf Trinidad

Guide to sleep in Tabernas
The spectacular landscapes of its desert have been the scene of several spaghetti westerns. The town is beautiful and unique, an oasis of civilized quality of life. It is also the headquarter of the Almería's Solar Platform (Plataforma Solar de Almería), where solar energy is investigated.

To make it easier for you to choose where to sleep in Tabernas we have prepared a guide with the best accommodations in the area.
Where to sleep in Tabernas
Our first recommendation is Casa Rural Jardín del Desierto, a rural house decorated with great taste and with owners who will make your stay perfect. It is a quiet place with lots of details. It has a pool that is seems like an oasis when you return after a day at the beach or a visit to the desert.

The second option to sleep in Tabernas is the Cortijo Oro Verde. Its perfect location and its modern style makes catch the attention and interest of the tourist. It is a country house in the middle of nature decorated with a modern style combined perfectly with details that make it warm and comfortable. One of its attractions is the swimming pool and its several terraces with views to pool, without a doubt a perfect place to have a wine enjoying the landscape.

As an economic option to sleep in Tabernas, we highlight the Hostal Avenida, located on the main street of the town with views of the church. The rooms are comfortable, clean and perfect to overnight. Restaurants are very close to the hostel so you can move anywhere walking. It does not have a swimming pool but Tabernas has a municipal pool that opens from June to mid-September in which you can refresh.

Do not forget to complete your visit to Tabernas with a route through the desert, the scene in which many Hollywood actors played. This park or minihollywood is located just at 8 minutes by car from the town center.

Casas Rural Jardín del Desierto

Cortijo Oro Verde

Sleep in Cuevas de Almanzora
For three thousand years the mines of this area of Spain have been periodically exploited, propitiating periods of wealth that have resulted in numerous beautiful buildings and a magnificent fortress. It is very close to the magnificent beaches of Almeria. If you want to know where to sleep in Cuevas de Almanzora, on this page we give you our recommendations.
Where to sleep in Cuevas de Almanzora
In the center of this town you can sleep in small pensions and hotels. We highlight the best option: Lucero Hostel. It is less than 1 km away from the caves. The rooms are spacious and the mattresses (as one of you have mentioned) are very comfortable. It is located next to the road but despite that it is a quiet place. For those who are not very close friends of the hostels, we know that this will surprise you. Excellent quality - price. The double room is around € 52 / night plus breakfast in high season.

As a second option to sleep in Cuevas de Almanzora is the Hostal El Perejil. It is a simple and clean hostel. We highlight the restaurant, whether you are staying there or you are not, you should go to eat some day. Quality and abundant food at a great price.

Another alternative is the Pensión Cuatro Vientos, a cozy hostel. Although it does not have many luxuries, it is a very clean hostel. It has a perfect location and the terrace bar food is very good. It is a good option to sleep in Cuevas de Almanzora taking care of your pocket.

Hostal Lucero

Hostal El Perejil

Where to sleep in Cuevas de Almanzora surroundings
In the surroundings we recommend you to stay at Villa La Rosa del Desierto. It is a villa located very close to the golf course, so it is a good option for those who practice this sport. It has a nice garden area and a shared pool.

Nearby is the town of Vera to which we have also dedicated a page with our recommendations.

Villa La Rosa del Desierto

Guía de dónde dormir en Mojácar

In the Sierra Cabrera, in the eastern region of Almeria, is Mojacar, which treasures a large cultural legacy owing, above all, to its Muslim past. It is divided into two different urban centers: "Mojacar Pueblo", the historic area on top of the hill, and "Mojacar Playa", on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Mojacar Playa is one of the liveliest beach and nightlife destinations in the southeast of Spain. If you want to know where to sleep in Mojacar, on this page we give you our recommendations.

Where to sleep in Mojacar Pueblo
We emphasize the Hostal El Olivar as the first option. It is located right in the center of Mojacar. It is one of those places that gives so much for very little. Its owners are attentive people, and the hostel has a lot of charm. There are rooms facing the mountains with special views. The breakfasts are famous among our travelers. In addition, the hostel has a solarium at the top that will leave you fascinated if you are sun lovers.

Our second choice is the Hostal Arco Plaza. It is also very well located in the center. It is perfectly isolated from the noise with views of the mountain and the village. Stresses the friendliness of its owner who knows the area perfectly.

We finish our selection with the Hotel Mamabels, another hotel where you will want to return again and again. It has fantastic decoration. From your terrace there are amazing views of the fabulous town of Mojacar. In its restaurant they serve very complete breakfasts. It is ideal to sleep in Mojacar as a couple.

Hostal El Olivar

Hotel Mamabels

Where to sleep in Mojacar Playa
As a first option we have the Parador de Mojacar. As a good Parador it always meets the expectations. The location is perfect. It is located on the beach front so it has wonderful views. It is true that the rooms are a bit old and perhaps they will need a renovation of furniture. This "but" is supplied by a multitude of services such as an outdoor Jacuzzi, a pool with plenty of sun loungers or very complete breakfasts.

If you are looking for something more modern to sleep in Mojacar we suggest you the Cortijo El Sarmiento, it is the perfect place to combine relaxation and the whole Mojacar walk. The place is decorated with love, respecting that Andalusian charm of white house and patio with plants. The rooms all in warm colours that will make you feel at home. It has a common pool with sunbeds that is the final shot.

Parador de Mojácar

Cortijo El Sarmiento

Sleep in Almería
The great port of the caliphate, surrounded by mountains. It is the city of Europe with the greatest number of hours of sun, which has enabled the development of an intense agricultural activity. It is a very interesting destination to visit following our advice. It is quiet to bathe in Spain throughout the year has an excellent archaeological offer and a good Mediterranean cuisine. Here we select the best accommodations for you to make your choice when booking where to sleep in Almeria.
Where to sleep in Almería
Our first option to sleep in Almería is the Hotel Nuevo Torreluz, maybe it is not the most "chic" hotel in Almeria, but what makes us decide for this accommodation is its fantastic location. It is only 5 minutes from the main street of Almería, 10 minutes walking from the Alcazaba and 20 from the seafront. The rooms are modern and the hotel staff is very friendly. In the area there are several terraces, bars and restaurants for tapas and a drink in the evening. Highly recommended.

The second option to sleep in Almería is the NH Ciudad de Almería. The quality of the NH chain appears everywhere. They offer spacious and modern rooms, very varied breakfast and all the services to make your stay in Almeria perfect.

Our third recommendation is the Aire Hotel & Ancient Baths, a charming accommodation. Highlights the views of the Alcazaba from the outdoor pool. It breathes peace and tranquility. Its rooms are decorated with photographs that occupy a whole wall transporting you to its beaches or its historic center. One of the most valued services of the hotel is its Arab baths. A luxury of place.

Nuevo Torreluz

NH Ciudad de Almería

Aire Hotel & Ancient Baths

Where to sleep in Almería surroundings
A little further away from the downtown area is the Avenida Almería hotel. It is just 5 minutes by car from the city center. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. In the area you can park the car perfectly. A silent and quiet neighborhood to sleep in Almeria. It is a good hotel for business travelers.

Hotel Avenida Almería

Sleep in Vejer de la Frontera
This town of Cadiz stands on a hill 200 meters high on the banks of the River Barbate. It includes part of the coast in the Atlantic Ocean, where El Palmar is located, a beach that is a holiday destination of great interest. Vejer is a beautiful set of white houses with balconies and wrought iron windows, clustered on the hill of its medieval castle. Its popular imagination is shaped by the defense of their collective rights in the 16th century. If you plan to sleep in Vejer de la Frontera, read on to see the different accommodations available so that you can choose yours easily.

Plaza de España

Puerta Cerrada

Where to sleep in Vejer de la Frontera
One of our favorite places to sleep in Vejer de la Frontera is the Hotel La Casa del Califa, which is located in the heart of the historic center of the town. Each hotel room is decorated in a different way, of course some of them are more spacious than others, depending on your needs. The views from the terrace are magnificent, you can see all the white houses that make up a picturesque and peaceful landscape, as well as the lagoon of La Janda and the Otivar mountains. Moroccan, Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine is served in its restaurant.

Hostal La Janda is an establishment located in the center of the town. We consider it a good option because of its cleanliness. Despite its great simplicity, the place has the basic characteristics for us to want to stay in it. Which are primarily rest, cleanliness and tranquility. Without great luxury, Hostal La Janda is a good option if you are looking for a good rest.

La casa del califa

Hostal La Janda

Where to sleep in Vejer de la Frontera surroundings
If you want to know the area, we recommend you to spend some nights in El Palmar, where we recommend Nexo Surf House, an accommodation that is just a few minutes from the beach. It has a strategic position between two seas and between two continents, which gives Tarifa an unique character. It occupies a unique place in the history of Spain for the gentlemanly gesture of Guzmán el Bueno. It is currently one of the worldwide meccas of bird watching and windsurfing. If you are looking to sleep in Tarifa, we give you some recommendations of accommodations that you can use to choose the one that best suits your needs.

Guzman el Bueno Castle

San Mateo Church

Where to sleep inTarifa historical centre and beach
To sleep in Tarifa one of the best accommodations is the Tarifa Lances Hotel. It is a great hotel that has 100 rooms of 4 different categories, decorated with typical Andalusian elements and warm colors.

Sleep in Setenil de las Bodegas
This Gaditana town is famous because of its unusual urban layout. It's been forged under a huge rock. This beautiful set of "coats under rock", with white facades on the slope that descends from its impregnable Nazari castle, is considered one of the most unique towns in Spain. It is part of the Route of the White Villages of Cádiz, among them, there are villages as Arcos de la Frontera, Grazalema or Zahara de la Sierra. On your getaway to Setenil de las Bodegas you can not miss the shelters under rock, a walkway with terraces that are under the rock, and the remains of the Castle and the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation. If you plan to sleep in Setenil de las Bodegas, read on to see our list of recommendations so you can choose your accommodation easily.

Castillo

Where to sleep in Setenil de la Bodegas
Although the hotel offer to sleep in Setenil de las Bodegas is not very wide, we recommend a couple of accommodations that are worth it for their quality. One of them is the Tugasa Hotel el Almendral, a typical Andalusian hotel located in a white house. It stands out for its simplicity and familiar treatment. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the hotel terrace. It has 28 newly remodeled rooms, which can be standard or double. Its restaurant serves very good food and at a good price.

The Rural House the Tajos de Setenil is also a good option. We like it for the simplicity of the establishment. Its situation is very good and it has quality furniture. In your stay you will have access to the entire apartment, including the kitchen, which gives you great autonomy in your schedules. It is a house that has 3 rooms and can accommodate up to 6 people.

Hotel Almendral

Hotel Tajos de Setenil

Where to sleep in Setenil de la Bodegas surroundings
If you are looking to stay in the surroundings of Setenil to get to know the area better, we recommend the Residencial La Carpia in the neighboring village, Arriate. It is two Andalusian-style houses that have a large outdoor pool and paddle tennis courts. The first house has capacity for 6 adults and the second one for 4. The rooms of the house are of a simple and floral style. They are very cozy but they are not especially spacious places.

Residencial La Carpia

Guide to sleep in Medina Sidonia
This town is located on the top of a visible hill. It is a town of several years of history and it was the capital of a Muslim province until it was attacked by the Vikings.

Sleep in Puerto de Santa María
This stately-looking city is located at the mouth of the Guadalete River. It had an extraordinary splendor for its important role in the Discovery and trade with the New World. It is still an important wine center and is one of the main tourist destinations in the south-west of Andalusia. During your visit to the Port of Santa María, you may be interested in seeing the Priory Church or the Osborne Winery, where you can taste a good Vino de Jerez (Sherry Wine). If you plan to sleep in Puerto de Santa María, read on to see our recommendations to make your choice easier.

Iglesia Mayor Prioral

Castillo de San Marcos

Where to sleep in Puerto de Santa María
If you want to sleep in El Puerto de Santa María we recommend the Hotel Monasterio San Miguel, which stands on an old monastery from 4 centuries ago. It is about 15 minutes away from the beach walking. This hotel has a pool where you can have a drink in it because it has a bar in it. The hotel preserves many elements of the original architecture, such as the cloisters or the enclosed courtyard in Andalusian style. The rooms at this hotel are very large and they have a private garage. The beds are very large and comfortable.

The Puerto Sherry Suites are impressive apartments that face the harbor. They are decorated with minimalist decor and blue finishes. It is a fishing village that is known for its spectacular beaches and for the "biggest" singer: Rocío Jurado. Among the main points of interest to visit in Chipiona you would find the lighthouse, the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Regla and the sports port. If you are planning to sleep in Chipiona, we leave you some accommodations so that you can choose yours more easily.

Nuestra Señora de Regla Church

Chipiona lighthouse

Where to sleep in Chipiona old town
The first accommodation we want to recommend you to sleep in Chipiona is the Hotel Agaró, a hotel decorated in white and blue that is 2 minutes walking from the beach. Rooms are huge, you will not miss space. The hotel's infinity pool has incredible views. The breakfast is very complete, they prepare what you ask for at the moment and the orange juice is natural.

We also recommend the Hotel Nieves Chipiona, which is 4 minutes from Regla Beach. Rooms are decorated in black and blue elements, so they do not give great feeling of spaciousness. Maybe the room may be small if you ask for an extra bed. There is a parking lot very close to the hotel, but it is charged.

We also have to highlight El Faro Hostel, which is 1 minute walking from the beach. All rooms are very bright becacuse of the natural light although some of them are short of space.

Hostal el Faro

Hote Nieves Chipiona

Where to sleep in Chipiona surroundings
If you are looking to stay at one of the localities in the area to get to know it better, we recommend the Palacio de Arizón Hotel in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

Guide to sleep in Chiclana de la Frontera
It was in this spectacular town of the Bay of Cadiz where the Greeks wrote that Hercules made two of his works. Beyond mythology, Chiclana is a monumental town with a solitary port and large sandy areas. The visual icon of the city, also considered one of the 7 Magic Points of Chiclana, is the Hermitage of Santa Ana. The Greater Church of San Juan Bautista is also a great place to visit there. If you are planning to sleep in Chiclana de la Frontera keep reading to see the recommendations we make so you can choose your accommodation more easily

Ermita de Santa Ana

Where to sleep in Chiclana de la Frontera old town
One of the accommodations that we like the most to sleep in Chiclana de la Frontera is the Valentin Sancti Petri, a hotel at 3 minutes walking from the beach. It is next to a golf course. The rooms are quite simple, but with everything you need for a stay of a couple of days. Almost all rooms have a terrace. The establishment has two restaurants, the Zahara and Cazorla, with buffet service and dishes from a menu during the summer months. There is a bicycle and car rental service and a spa that can be used with a surcharge.

The Iberostar Royal Andalus is another of the hotels that we recommend. It is located on the beach of La Barrosa and it has exceptional views of the sea. It has rooms with balcony and 3 outdoor swimming pools and leisure facilities with tennis courts. In the hotel there are 3 restaurants and there is a daily buffet service. Manolete restaurant is the most recommended.

Hotel Valentin Sancti Petri

Hotel Iberostar Royal Andalus

Where to sleep in Chiclana de la Frontera surroundings
To sleep in one of the towns next to Chiclana, we suggest the Hotel Conil Park in Conil de la Frontera. It is a hotel that is almost on shore and next to the centre of the town. Rooms at this hotel have simple and bright decoration with views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Hotel Conil Park

Sleep in Cádiz
Known as the "Tacita de Plata" (Little Silver Cup) it is appreciated as the oldest city in the West. It is surrounded by huge sands and it is framed by a landscape of marshes unique in Europe. Historically, this city was key in the commerce with America, objective of corsairs and scene of the first liberal constitution of Spain. The city of Cádiz has many points of interest to visit, such as the Tavira Tower or the Old Salazones Factory, and you can also reach to Puerto de Santa María or San Fernando in just a few minutes by car. They are towns that are worth to pay to visit them. To sleep in Cádiz, we have left you our list of recommendations, so that it will be easier for you to choose your favorite accommodation.

Cathedral

Barcos en la Playa de La Caleta

Where to sleep in Cádiz oldtown
To sleep in Cádiz center you will find many accommodations and at first it can be overwhelming. Firstly, we recommend you the Senator Cádiz Spa Hotel because it is located in an old restored palace, something that gives it great charm to a stay. With your stay in this hotel you will have free access to the Senzia Spa & Wellness within schedule. The rooms in this hotel are perfectly equipped and quite spacious. The hotel pool is somewhat small, but sufficient. The good thing about this pool is the views, which are spectacular.

Another accommodation that we propose to sleep in Cádiz is the Convento Hotel Boutique. The special thing about this place is its location, it is an old convent that belonged to the Dominican Order. It is located in the heart of the city. The interior courtyard of the room is surrounded by arches and it is a perfect place to relax or to read a book. All of the rooms are old convent cells converted with great taste, so that they perfectly serve current needs.

The Parador de Cádiz is another of the alternatives that will make your stay in Cádiz an incredible one. It has very bright rooms, some with a terrace and views of the sea or the city. The breakfast at this hotel is very complete and the pool area is magnificent. In general it is a hotel redesigned with artistic pieces of great value.

Hotel Boutique Convento

Parador de Cadiz

Dónde dormir en Cádiz urban center
If you are looking to sleep in Cádiz, but a bit further away from the hustle and bustle of the historic center, the Tryp Cádiz La Caleta is perfect for you. It is in the middle of the promenade and it is perfectly connected to the center. The rooms are elegant and a buffet breakfast is served in which the croissants are very good, for lunch and dinner they serve Mediterranean food.

Hotel Tryo Cadiz La Caleta

Where to sleep in Cádiz surroundings
If you prefer to sleep in the towns around Cádiz, the closest one is Puerto Real. There you can stay at the Gran Hotel Ciudad del Sur. Althought it is a bit old it is also an elegant and well equipped hotel. It is a 20-minute drive from the Jerez racing circuit. It has a small pool but very clean. You can also stay in San Fernando, where you have the Bahia Sur tourist studios, in which we emphasize the views from the rooms and the late check out, for which they are very flexible.

Gran Hotel Ciudad del Sur
